Your baby may be tiny — but their immune system is doing big work from day one.
That’s where vaccinations come in.

At Maternite Hospital, new parents often ask us,
"Doctor, pehla teeka kab lagta hai? Aur kya har vaccine zaroori hai?"

Let’s clear the confusion. Here’s a simple guide to what vaccines your baby needs in the first year — and how you can make the process easier and less stressful for both of you.

All these are available at our on-site vaccination center in Jaipur, managed by trained nurses and experienced pediatricians.

How to Comfort Your Baby During Shots

  • Hold your baby close – Skin-to-skin contact works wonders.
  • Breastfeed before or after – It calms and soothes instantly.
  • Talk or sing softly – Your voice is familiar and reassuring.
  • Carry a soft toy or cloth – Something your baby is used to.
  • Stay calm yourself – Babies pick up on our emotions.

Most babies cry for less than a minute after the injection. Some may get mild fever or swelling — we give proper guidance after every shot at Maternite so you know what to expect.
